From 2012 to 2015, I freelanced as a book designer for The Kansas City Star book division. I specialized mostly in quilting book design which included instructional diagrams and How-To informational pieces. Often, we would conduct a photo shoot to capture all the gorgeous quilts included in the book. I worked with a publisher and designed the covers and interiors for my assigned titles. Print files were created and sent to a printer.
