Faculty Appreciation

Each year, KU Endowment sends out a faculty/staff direct mail. The theme varies, but in 2020, because of the pandemic, we considered making it purely a gratitude piece. I developed this concept of gratitude and appreciation cards (print and digital versions). Because of budget constraints, the project never got off the ground, but these pieces […]

Winter Mail appeal

Each year, KU Endowment sends a winter mail appeal to all of its donors. This appeal is a general ask for our unrestricted support fund, a year-end gratitude message, and a premium piece. For the last several years, the premium piece has been a calendar. This year, I designed a pop-up style calendar with hidden […]

LaunchKU Crowdfunding {video}

LaunchKU is KU Endowment’s crowdfunding platform. This year, the project manager requested a marketing video since it was difficult to educate the community about this platform (here’s looking at you, covid). I chose to reach out to a KU graduate motion animator to create this video. The video was scripted and a storyboard was developed. […]

Jayhawk valentine

Valentine’s Day, 2017. This was a direct mail card with no ask attached, simply saying Happy Valentine’s Day to the donors who had met their spouse at KU. My role: worked with a contracted illustrator (Greg Hardin) to create the imagery for the card. Worked with KU’s licensing department for approval. Oversaw the work of […]
